Lizzy moyer
Coach Lizzy has dedicated over 22 years to growing as an athlete, coach, and person. From challenges and celebrations throughout her soccer career, she has learned how a coach can impact a player. She aims to create a fun and challenging learning environment where players can willfully develop confidence, respect, honesty, and sportsmanship.
In college, she founded, managed, and captained the Women's Futbol (Soccer) Club at Point Loma Nazarene University, where the team could play against various colleges and Universities. After returning to Chicago from college in San Diego, she coached for the club she grew up playing for, Hawthorn Woods Elite Soccer Club. Then, in 2019, she interned in Ecuador, organizing sports groups for the local schools and other ex-pats/volunteers. The pure grit and passion they demonstrate overseas only motivate her more to encourage players to play from the heart while participating in the competition.
