TRYOUTS FOR THE FOLLOWING AGE GROUPS WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16

Players are welcome to attend even if they did not attend the first session earlier in the week!

All other tryouts for players born 2011-2018 have concluded, but spots remain on some teams for qualified players. Please contact us at executivedirector@cardiffsockers.org and/or info@cardiffsockers.org for more information.

We ask that you do the following if you are interested in playing for the Cardiff Sockers for the 2025-26 season:

  • Pre-register online.

  • Arrive for check in up to 15 minutes early.

  • Attend sessions wearing appropriate soccer attire, shin guards, and soccer cleats.

  • Share tryout information with a friend!

  • Attend both tryout sessions for the group.

Registration fees cover professional coaching sessions, league fees, insurance costs, referee fees, facilities and equipment, skills clinics, team camps, and specialty programs. Tournament fees are handled on a team-by-team basis.

All teams practice 2-3x a week. Additional trainings are offered by age group via our Specialty Training Program and Olympus Movement Performance strength and conditioning sessions. Goalies also train weekly with three-time MASL Goalkeeper of the Year Chris Toth. Our Specialty Training Program is directed by Mark O’Sullivan, and features a player-centered curriculum that addresses different soccer skills, techniques, and building of soccer IQ throughout the year to maximize individual player growth and development.
