aziel Pizzaro
Aziel “Azi” Pizzaro joins the Cardiff coaching staff after playing with the club during his high school years, and represents the best of the values we hope to instill in our players. He started playing soccer when he was 5 years old and experienced many different clubs before finding the Cardiff Sockers through friends. Cardiff Sockers supported the passion he had for the sport, and he shares that when he found that the Sockers coaches are “all phenomenal and supportive to each player,” it inspired him to become a coach.
Azi says, “I want to follow the same enthusiasm and determination my coaches presented to me. I want to give the Cardiff players more information about soccer and develop their skill, just as my coaches developed my skill by passing down their experience of soccer to me.”
